How does Hyalase for dissolving filler work?

Hyalase is a soluble protein enzyme that causes the breakdown of hyaluronic acid one of the most common substances used in a high proportion of dermal filler products.

The solution works by breaking up the bonds that holds the HA molecules together and encourages the body to reabsorb these molecules in a natural process. It accomplishes this by increasing tissue permeability, splitting the molecular bonds holding the hyaluronic acid together and promoting the natural cellular processes responsible for its diffusion.

How long does the treatment take?

Following a full consultation and medical assessment, if suitable for treatment a patch test is required initially. If patch test is ok treatment can be carried out.

Can I be re-injected with filler in the same place?

Absolutley! However the time frame of this can be quite individual and discussed with your practitioner thoroughly before any treatment plan is discussed.

When will I see the results & how long do they last?

Hyalase can have an immediate effect within minutes however sometimes can take up to 72 hrs to see results. Variants can include the length of time of the initial treatment or sometimes multiple applications of filler in some cases.
