How PDO threads work?

A PDO thread is a strong synthetic fibre consisting of one or two twisted style threads. Polydioxanane has been used in medicine for 20 years, mainly in absorbable stitches used in surgical procedures.

The insertion of these fine threads both induces skin tension and stimulates fibroblast activity around the thread leading to new increased collagen production.

What areas can be treated?

Brows, eyes, cheeks, jawline, jowls, corners of mouth, chin, neck , nasolabial folds and top lip.

How long does the treatment take?

Following a full consultation and medical assessment (30 mins) if suitable a treatment plan will be discussed and usually treatment is completed in one or two sessions no more than 60 minutes.

Can I have this alongside other treatments?

Absolutely! Commonly threads are used in combination with other treatments to create a full balanced look on the face.
