What does Radio Frequency Skin Tightening Do?
As we age the skin can lose volume resulting in laxity issues and reduced elastin and collagen are produced which results in skin looking loose and uneven. It is also used on body areas to tighten loose wrinkled skin and cellulite improvement.
How does Radio Frequency Work?
The procedure works by passing energy heat waves down through the layers of the skin to the dermis to induce new collagen and elastin and encourage cell turnover.
What skin types can have Radio Frequency?
This wave based therapy is calibrated to be performed on all skin types.
Radio frequency is penetrated down through to the subcutaneous layers producing an exothermic reaction.
Repeated passes are then performed to maintain the therapeutic temperature usually between 38oc- 42oc.
