How It Works

Pixel laser resurfacing displays a fractional delivery method which creates pixel sized perforations in the skin leaving the surrounding tissue intact. The preservation of undamaged skin between the perforations allows for faster healing while the controlled injury healing process promotes accelerated re-epithelization generation of NEW collagen, NEW tissue regeneration and contracture of existing fibres.

Is there any downtime?

Pixel treatment is generally considered to be well tolerated and almost pain free with a light flicking or ‘elastic band’ feeling on the skin as the laser is fired and some sensation of warmth felt during the treatments.

A cooling device is used continuously throughout treatment to ease comfort.

How many treatments will I require?

A treatment programme of four to six treatments is recommended depending on expected outcomes.
